Detailed Merach R14 Water Rowing Machine Assembly Instructions
1. Unpack & Inspect Components
Clear at least 6 ft × 6 ft of space on a soft surface. Lay out the main frame (A), rear rails (B/C), seat (D), monitor assembly (E), hardware bags, and pump kit. Verify you have screws, an Allen wrench, and a Phillips wrench.
2. Attach Left & Right Rear Rails
Remove the two pre-installed screws (100) on each side of the main frame (A). Align rail assemblies (B/C) with mounting holes and insert screws (100) through rails into the frame. Use the Allen wrench (101) and Phillips wrench (103) to hand-tighten, then fully secure until snug—rails should slide but not wobble.
3. Install Seat Assembly
Unscrew seat stops (57) and socket-cap screws (77) from the rail ends. Slide seat assembly (D) onto the rails until it reaches the rail connection plate (05). Re-insert seat stops (57) and screws (77), tightening with the Allen wrench (101). Test the seat’s glide—adjust if it catches.
4. Mount Monitor Frame
Detach the four screws (72) from the main stand (A). Connect the monitor wiring (E1) to the main-frame connector (A1). Position monitor assembly (E) on the frame, align screw holes, then secure with screws (72) using the Allen wrench (102). Ensure the wiring is tucked out of the way.
5. Secure Handles & Footrests
Slide the handlebar assembly into the front rail and tighten the clamp by hand for a firm grip. Attach footrests at your preferred angle, fastening with Phillips screws. Straps should hold feet snugly but not restrict movement.
6. Fill & Purify Water Tank
Remove the rubber fill plug on top of the transparent tank. Place the electric pump in a bucket of distilled water and insert hoses into the tank. Run the pump until water reaches the “Medium” fill line, then drop in one purification tablet. Wait 5 minutes before rowing.
7. Final Checks & Test Row
Walk around the machine to ensure no tools or packaging are left in the mechanism. Tighten any loose screws. Power on the display and perform a slow stroke—confirm smooth water resistance rowing machine drag and accurate readings. Sync to your rowing machine app to record metrics.
